Place names?

Am I right that Saltrock got renamed in a later era?

Also names of days? I'm thinking tuesdays are obsolete

I am 40,000 words in on my late-era novel 'An agent of Agave' and I'm writing the romantic post-inception encounter. The plot has our heroes doing this in the most auspicous location.. the forale house in Saltrock.

Speculating, of course. But as we derive the name of days from our deities, why not Wraeththu? Sunday may be Agamaday. Monday Aruhaniday. Tuesday Agaveday. Myacaladay Wednesday, Arunaday Friday and Saturday would be Lunilday. But may be that some of the first hara like Pell, Cal, Cobweb, Caeru, will be considered deities, or at least semidivine. So we'll have Pellday, Calantheday, Caeruday, Cobwebday, Darquielday, Tisonday and Moonlingday. Or some combination. These are only suggestions, in any case. By the way, Happy new year to you all!

Come to think of it, in Student of Kyme the days have names similar to those I suggested. Even the months. But maybe they can change in time and world region.

Saltrock changing name? Would you change name to Gettysburg or Alamo?
I'm eager to read your novel, it will be grand, I'm sure!

I have it in mind that in one of the books Saltrock had morphed to 'Sarrock' due to passage of time - intentional not just a spelling error.

I'm going with Saltrock for now.

I'm checking my word count I'm not far off Student of Kyme length already!

Sarocks was the name Storm gave to Saltrock tribe. Sarrock is similar.
